Support:Summer Meeting 2010
To celebrate the hot summer of 2010 we made the decission to set up a new real life meeting from the second september till the fifth september to have the chance again of seeing some of the attendees from the Arianne-birthday meeting from Hannover again and just having a good and fun time together.
The confirmed attendees are: Hendrik, Markus, Katie, Silvio, Marco, Vanessa and Simon.
Location
Our guesthouse where we will stay is laying lies in a small city called Hilchenbach, 14 km away from Siegen, 95 km from Cologne/Köln and 130 km from Frankfurt am Main, at the foot of the german "Rothaargebirge".
The house is called Ferienhaus Walter and details about rooms and interior can be find on http://walterholidays.de/dnn/DasHaus/Ausstattung/tabid/181/Default.aspx . It's the last appartment shown on the map on the button of the page.
The location itself "Rothaargebirge" is a huge, originally natural park, which owns over 500 km of branded bycicle- and hiking trails and a unique natural environment.
Price
NEW PRICE INFORMATION
- Vanessa got the official booking confirmation now...
- Vanessa paid the rest of the money
- The price for the apartment per person is 96,29 € (some paid a deposit of 50 Euro to me before, so the price is 46,29 € for them)
- IMPORTANT: Vanessa also paid a deposit of 300 € by herself which she will get back, when we are moving out of the apartment. PLEASE make sure, that you treat the apartment nicely without destroying anything (not that Vanessa doesn't trust you when it's about that :D But she wants to remember about that...)
The price of one night for the apartment is 195,00 euro and a deposit has been paid from 300 euro by the confirmed attendees (50 euro/person). The rest of the price has to be paid 30 days before we arrive there (if we will stay there with 7 people, the rest would be 46,29 euro/person). Vanessa will pay the rest of the price from her bank account and hopes, that she will get the rest of the amount back in time :D More information will be given by her when the payment date will be set up by the house owners.
What isn't included in the price which is given above are the costs of <item>meat|food</item>, <item>tea|drinks</item> and special drinks like <item>wine|alcohol</item>. We decided to split the food and drink prices as though we are all eating and drinking normally and the cooking evenings will normally be visited by all attendees. The costs of alcoholic drinks of course don't have to be paid by people who are not drinking, don't worry :)

Events
Thursday
On Thursday afternoon the first attendees will arrive in our beautiful looking nice holiday apartment to start four wonderful days. In relation to the Arrival times the plans for Thursday shouldn't be set up yet. There are some ideas but planning all days from A-Z is maybe a bit too strict :) If you are having ideas for the Thursday, please add them below :)

Friday
Friday will be a day for relaxing and maybe doing some activities together which are not quiet yet planned. The idea is it of cooking together in the evening and letting the plans for the friday a bit more open. Maybe we can also spent the evening together with doing some of the games and having fun there :)
Ideas for possible normal daytime (and maybe freetime :)) activities could be:
- Visiting an open air bath
- Walking through Hilchenbach which is having some nice old building
- Walking through the landscape (beautiful nature around!)
- Relaxing on the terraces of the house or in the apartment itself

Saturday
Saturday could be our group-activity day with doing things like visiting a wild-park in the near of Hilchenbach where we will stay over the meeting days. The wild-park is a huge one with lots of animals in there and could be very fun to see and visit. We also would really love it to have a BBQ together in the evening with lots of yummi food and drinks around :)
Sunday
The Sunday will be the last day of our meeting. Unfortunately we have to leave our holiday-apartment at 11.00 am and maybe we can have something like a breakfast, lunch or dinner together so that we don't have to leave directly around that time.
Breakfast at 8.30 in the morning, if you will agree... There are a few ones who have to leave early, so 8.30 would be a nice time for having a last group breakfast together :)
Game ideas
For spending some nice hours together it would be fine to have some games which we could play together in teams through evenings or daytimes. If you are having any game ideas, it would be nice if you can add them here :)

- if anyone has a badminton game that would be sth nice to play outside
- related to the point above: football? Volleyball? or another kind of ball?

- With cream cheese and tomatoe filled pork-cutlets with rice or noodles and a sauce of tomatoes and cream (just an idea of course :))

- Maybe finding a nice place to go to in town for spending a relaxed and nice evening together :) What about a "Biergarten" or a restaurant?

Yay, BBQ time beautiful time!

Allergies or risks?
What to bring with
Bedclothes are there, we don't have to bring them with us. If you need special pillows you have to bring them with you please :) Everything else should be there for us... Remember to bring shower gel and shampoo with you :D And tooth brushs + toothpaste :D Just as some kind of reminder-help :D Oh and Towels!!! (these seem to be not in the price...)
