Story

Balduin, the hermit who is living on Ados rock, has a last and ultimate challenge for collectors.

Participants

<npc>Balduin</npc>, the hermit at Ados rock

Steps

1. Complete the first and second weapons collections quest for Balduin.
2. If you have completed all other quests which collect or get rewarded with a rare item, Balduin gives you one last challenge.
3. Balduin wants one of these weapons from you, he will tell you which one:
   • <item>nihonto</item>
   • <item>magic twoside axe</item>
   • <item>imperator sword</item>
   • <item>durin axe</item>
   • <item>vulcano hammer</item>
   • <item>xeno sword</item>
   • <item>black scythe</item>
   • <item>chaos dagger</item>
   • <item>black sword</item>
   • <item>golden orc sword</item>
   • <item>ice war hammer</item>
   • <item>orcish sword</item>
   • <item>black halberd</item>
4. Take the weapon to the hermit

100000 XP

30 karma (since 1.12)

Remarks

You can sell black items to Balduin from now on.

You can buy bound <item>l hand sword</item> & <item>r hand sword</item> from Balduin (since 1.39).

You can request to bring a different item after 6 months (available after 1.47).

If the quest was started before 1.47 the wait time is only 3 months.
