Hello everyone :)

We finally found a date now and a nice location to stay at our next social meeting this year.

Similar to the summer social meeting 2010 we will hopefully have a wonderful and relaxing time together while exploring some places, playing some games, developing together and just having fun at all! :)

This page here shows the updated plans till now. If you have any more suggestions in relation to activities or places you definetly want to visit, please fill them in here.

Location

Berlin

  • Pohlstraße 65
  • 10785 Berlin-Mitte
  • 4 rooms
    • room 1: one double bed
    • room 2: three single beds
    • room 3: two single beds (passage room)
    • room 4: two single beds + fold-away bed

(Who wants to stay in which room? any preferences made already? :) )

  • 2 bathrooms
    • bathroom 1: bath tub + WC + washing machine
    • bathroom 2: shower + WC
  • 1 dining/living room
    • place for 10 people
    • hi-fi syste,cable TV
  • 1 kitchen
    • complete equipment
  • Wireless Lan everywhere

Arrival

  • Main station --> most of us arrive at 15.10 with an ICE, plassy will arrive earlier at the main station but he wants to wait for us there
  • then driving to the flat by tube to Kurfürstenstraße

Date

  • 23.02.2011 - 27.02.2011 (4 nights)

Price

The price for 4 days is:

4 days x 132,00 Euro/day (incl. towels + bedclothes) = 528,00 Euro + 35 Euro (final cleaning)= 563,00 Euro (total cost)


per person (when we are 7 people) : 80,43 Euro

We have to pay in cash on the arriving date.

  • workshops, I.e. more practical and collaborative but still stendhal development as a focus
  • Personally I think some little focus might be fun even if just one day. Not necessarily formal talks as we may not have the equipment but perhaps some workshops would work well. Kymara

  • Playing really funny games like Bingo, Pairs or Guess what I am, some other games
    • Bingo cards printed already
    • Vanessa will bring german Trivial pursuit cards and the gaming field

  • watching a film
    • Vanessa can bring the following DVDs with her: Love Vegas, Hangover, Ice age 3, This is it (Michael Jackson movie) and Mall Cop (with Kevin James)
  • listening to some music
    • Vanessa can bring some Cds with her, does someone have new songs like charts?

Wednesday, arriving date

  • meeting at central station at appr. 15.15 (if ICE drives normally)
  • arriving time appr. 15.30-16.00 at flat
  • taking keys by flat owner
  • unpacking stuff :P, talking about rooms, exploring the flat :D
  • searching a supermarket, buying some needed things like drinks, food
  • evening: Birthdayparty for Katie :)
