A quest ... is generally a task or series of tasks, which a player or group of players may complete in order to gain a reward. Rewards may include experience points, loot, spells, in-game currency, faction hits, or any combination of the above.

This page shows quests that already exist in Stendhal. Find out what stage you are at any quest by checking your quest log, since Stendhal 0.91.

You can start the practical test

Steps

Zekiel informs you about the test and wizards
You will be send to 6 levels now at which you have to choose the right creature
If you made the right choices, you'll be able to reach the spire everytime you want

Reward: 5000 XP; Karma: 10; Being able to visit the spire or store each time you want

Crown For The Wannabe King

Participants: Ivan Abe, the wannabe king who lives in Sedah; Kendra Mattori, priestess living in Magic City

Steps

Ivan Abe wants you to bring him gems and gold for his crown which he believes will help him to become the new king
The needed items are: 1 obsidian, 2 diamond, 4 emerald, 2 carbuncle, 3 sapphire and 2 gold bar. Take these to Ivan Abe.
Ivan Abe tells you to go to Kendra Mattori, who gives the reward

Reward: 10,000 XP; ATK XP is increased by 0.1% of your XP.

Participants: Tywysoga, the Elf Princess in Nalwor Tower; Rose Leigh, the wandering flower seller.

Steps

The princess asks you for a rare flower, the rhosyd
Find the wandering flower seller
You are given the flower, provided you've already been asked to fetch it
Take flower back to princess
Princess gives you a reward

Reward: 5000 XP; Some gold bars, random between 5,10,15,20,25,30.; Karma: 25

Note: Unlimited repetitions, provided you've activated the quest by asking the princess for a task again

Kill Dark Elves

Participants: Maerion, mayor of Nalwor

Steps

Maerion asks you fix his dark elf problem
You go kill all the elves in the part of the drow tunnel beyond the secret room
The boss creature is a mutant thing, an experiment by the dark elves
The thing drops an amulet which Maerion wants returned
Maerion checks your kills, takes the amulet and gives you a ring of life as reward

Reward: 10000 XP; emerald ring (also known as ring of life); Karma: 10

Take Gold for Grafindle

Participants: Grafindle, the elderly elf banker; Lorithien, the post elf

Steps

Grafindle asks you to fetch gold bars from Lorithien
Talk with Lorithien for the gold bars
Take them to Grafindle for banking

Reward: 200 XP; some karma; Nalwor Bank Key

Restock the Flower Shop

Participants: Seremela, the elf that maintains the flower shop

Steps

Seremela asks you to retrieve various flowers and water for the shop
Bring the flowers and water to her

Reward: 1000 XP; 5 nalwor city scroll

Participants: Elisabeth, a young girl who loves chocolate; Carey, Elisabeths mother

Steps

Elisabeth asks you to bring her a chocolate bar
Get some chocolate
Ask Carey if she allows you to give the chocolate to her daughter
Make Elisabeth happy and get a lovely reward :)

Rewards: A random flower; 500 XP + Karma

Notes: Repeatable every 60 minutes

Find Jefs mother

Participants: Jef, a boy who waits for his mom; Amber, Jefs mother who seems to be lost

Steps

Ask Jef for a quest
Agree to find his mom, Amber
Try to find Amber
If you have found her, return to Jef and tell him how she feels
Get a reward

Rewards: A random amount of red lionfish; 5000 XP + Karma

Notes: Repeatable every 3 days; Ask Roger Frampton for hints about Ambers current living place

Mixture For Ortiv

Participants: Ortiv Milquetoast, a retired teacher; Erna who helps in Semos bakery

Steps

Ask Ortiv for a quest
Collect the items he needs for the quest: one flask, 2 arandula, ten red lionfish, one kokuda; 12 toadstool; two licorice, ten apple, 30 wine; two garlic and one pestle and mortar
Return to Ortiv and get your reward!

Reward: A bounded assassin dagger; 5000 XP + 25 Karma

Notes: You need to get pestle and mortar by Erna

Kirdneh Museum needs help!

("Weekly Item Quest")

Participants: Hazel, Museum Curator of Kirdneh

Steps

talk to Hazel to get a quest to fetch a rare item
go get the item
bring the item to Hazel

Reward: XP depending on Level (60% of xp between your level now and next level); between 100 and 600 money

Note: Can be repeated once a week; if you cannot bring it in 6 weeks she offers you the chance to fetch another instead

Story:

There's a lonely scientist in kalavan basements. He loves technology, and he doesn't see his wife for a long time. He wants to give her a present. But he needs help and you are the only one who can make him happy.

Steps: Talk to Vasi Elos, a lonely scientist.; Give him all the stuff he needs for a present for his honey.; Talk to Mayor Sakhs.; Bring Vasi Elos mayor's letter.; Kill the Imperial Scientist.; Give him the flask with his brother's blood.

Reward: 10000 XP; 20 karma; A pair of black legs

Imperial Princess

Participants: Princess Ylflia and King Cozart, at Kalavan Castle

Steps

Princess asks you to fetch a number of herbs and potions (depends on your level)
You bring them to her
She recommends you to her father, King Cozart
You speak with the King

Reward: XP depending on level; Ability to buy houses in Kalavan City

Participants: Annie Jones, a little girl playing in Kalavan City Gardens; Annie's mum Mrs Jones

Steps

Annie asks you for an icecream
You buy icecream from Sam who is nearby
Annie can't take it as her mum thinks you are a stranger
Speak to Mrs Jones, Annie's mum
Now give the icecream to Annie

Reward: 500 XP; A present; 20 Karma

Note: Repeatable every 60 minutes but you must speak to Mrs Jones for approval every time.

Lunch for Sue

Not logged in your quest log as a quest

Participants: Sue, a the gardener in Kalavan City Gardens; Granny Graham, in the nearby cottage

Steps

Sue offers to swap a magic scroll in return for lunch: 1 cup of tea and 1 sandwich.
Granny Graham will make the tea if you bring 1 milk and 1 honey.
Bring tea and sandwich to Sue.

Reward: 15 XP; karma?; A Kalavan City scroll

Note: Repeatable every 24 hours; Or take up to 7 lunches; getting up to 7 scrolls; and waiting up to 7 days to the next repeat

Clean Athors underground

Participants: John who makes his vacation on Athor island with his wife Jane

Steps

John asks you to kill some creatures in the Athor underground
He and his wife want to explore the region but can't at the moment
Help Jane and John to spend an undisturbed holiday
Kill one of each creature in Athor underground (first map)
Return and get a reward

Reward: 5000 XP; 10 greater potions; some Karma

Notes: quest can be repeated all 7 days; You just have to kill one of each creature in Athor underground first map (not the minotaur labyrinth part!)

Suntan Cream for Zara

Participants: Zara, a woman at the Athor beach; David or Pam, the lifeguards.

Steps

Zara asks you to bring her some suntan cream from the lifeguards.
Pam or David want to have some ingredients: minor potion, kokuda, arandula. After you brought it to them they mix a cream.
Zara sees your suntan cream and asks for it and then thanks you.

Reward: 1000 XP overall; some karma; The key for a house in Ados where a personal chest with new slots is inside

Traps for Klaas

Participants: Klaas

Steps

Klaas want's some rodent traps to help rid Athor's ferry of the rat infestation
Bring Klaas 20 rodent traps

Reward: 5 greater antidote; 1000 XP; 10 karma

Steps

The princess asks you for an exotic drink
Find someone who serves exotic drinks like a pina colada
Take exotic drink back to princess

Reward: 25 Karma; Some fish pies, between 2 and 7

Note: You can repeat it once per hour

Jailed Barbarian

Participants: Lorenz, the jailed barbarian in a hut on Amazon Island; Princess Esclara the Amazon Princess; Princess Ylflia the Princess of Kalavan

Steps

Lorenz ask you for a scythe to bring him
You have to ask Princess Esclara for a 'reason' why Lorenz is jailed
Once you told the reason to Lorenz, you have to bring him an egg
You have to inform Princess Ylflia that he is jailed
Once you told Lorenz greetings from Ylflia, you have to bring him a barbarian armor

Reward: 20 gold bars; 15 karma; 52,000 XP
