Gambling in Semos Tavern

- Nice prizes are waiting for you in the Semos Tavern when you are visiting <npc>Ricardo</npc> there. He is the only person in Semos who is licensed to offer gambling activities, so you can of course take trust into him while playing on his table. If you are a gambler and curious about how lucky you can be, try that little game out and you will maybe win lots of useful items.
- Rules
- The rules are simple: just tell <npc>Ricardo</npc> if you want to play, pay the stake (costs see above), and throw the dice on the table. The higher the sum of the upper faces is, the nicer will be your prize. If you want to relax while maybe hanging around with some friends, that <item>dice|game</item> will be the right place for you.

- Short introduction
- Shipping around on a ferry, <npc>Ramon</npc> is waiting for costumers of his gambling market. He was a <item>cards|card dealer</item> in the Semos tavern, but he lost his gambling license and went onto the ship to athor for starting new gambling activities there. His brother <npc>Ricardo</npc> is still working in the tavern. What is the game about which he offers young heroes on their way to Athor?
- Blackjack or 21 as it is called in some regions, is a typical casino cards game. It is by far the most popular table game offered in gambling establishments.
- Rules
- The rules are quiet simple:
- You play against the bank. The goal is to have a higher number of points than the bank, but not more than 21.
- Jacks, queens, and kings are worth 10 points. Aces are worth 11 points, but only 1 point if your hand would exceed 21 points otherwise. All other cards are worth their number.

- The maze is a ,for each player individuell built up, labyrinth. The goal of the participants of that Maze is it to find the right portal for solving the Maze and leaving the labyrinth. <npc>Haizen</npc> will create a portal out in the opposite corner of the maze. He will also add scrolls to the two other corners so that the challengers can try to get if they are fast enough. Do you want to try? But take care, your time counts in that game. There is a best maze runners list in a book on Haizens table... If you want to join that Hall of Fame, you have to be fast! One thing is for sure, it makes lots of fun to run through these huge corridors!
- Prizes
- Hey, don't be so greedy! It is not always about getting prizes in the form of items... You will get a Hall of Fame entrance in Haizens book and who knows, maybe you will reach some fortune later with that entrace...

A wishing well is a term from European folklore to describe wells where it was thought that any spoken wish would be granted. The idea that a wish would be granted came from the idea that water housed deities or had been placed there as a gift from the gods, since water was a source of life and often a scarce commodity. - As you can read here, the story of wishing wells goes back to a time in which mystical legends and strong belief in magical things took place. The habit of throwing money into wells is still popular in our times. That is why some people are thinking about their wishes before throwing some <item>money</item> into the water. Although you can not speak your wishes out to the well here, you can be very lucky and find some nice items which you can use later on your huntings and adventures.
- Rules
- The only rule you have to follow is: stay patient while doing a wish in front of a well... It needs some seconds to find out, if you were lucky and find something useful or if you weren't successful that time.
