Stendhal Rules

Stendhal is a friendly community, and higher level players will generally help lower level players. For example, there is a community chest south of the Inn where players can deposit unwanted items for others to use. For those who might disrupt this friendly community, there is a jail in semos_plains_w and a heaven in int_afterlife. To avoid being sent there, please follow this guide:

1. The city is protected - you cannot attack other players here.
2. The bank is also protected unless you are trapped by another player.
3. Please don't trap another player, or you may get killed or jailed.
4. If you repeatedly kill or attack the same player you may be jailed.
5. Please do not take advantage of new players by stealing their items.
6. Please don't kill new players for no good reason or the Stendhal community may not be able to expand. Attack creatures, they give better drops and XP.
7. If you annoy any player too much, you may get attacked!
8. If you are low level and you get too far from city, then beware of monsters or other players who may kill you.
9. Take care if you leave your computer and your character is outside the city - you may die.
10. If you drop something on the ground a thief may take it - be careful of your items.
11. Some players like to train by letting creatures attack them. Please respect this and don't kill the creatures around them.
12. If you are training and another kills the creatures around you, try asking them to stop. If they continue, find a new place to train. Please don't bother /support with it.
13. If you kill another's sheep outside the city you may get attacked by the owner - sheep cost money and time.
14. Please listen to what an admin or Game Master asks you to do.
15. If you discover an abusable bug, please report it using /support or the tracker
16. Don't use bots or other client automation as this will be considered cheating by most players (Service bots like postman have to get approval on #arianne)
