:A little bit late, but... :-) I started to prepare images of monsters (and links to them) on my [[User:GrobiMonster/Bestiarypics|Userpage]]. They are hosted at imageshack.us at the moment, maybe the [[Template:Creature|template for the creatures]] could be changed to use complete links to images instead of hardcoded ones.
